Wright-Patterson AFB, OH - Gate Hours, Map and Status

Wright-Patterson AFB is a sprawling complex on the northeast side of Dayton, OH. The gates are located along SR 444 and Interstate 675, the two main routes that serve the base. Because of the size of the base, many gates are internal gates or are unmanned, 24-hour gates which require ID access; such as Gates 8A, 9A and 38A. Manned 24-hour external gates include the Main Gate 19B and Gate 12A. Gates 15A, 1B and 22B are all open M-F, 0600-1800. Gate 1A hours are 0600-2200, 7 days a week. The Commercial Gate 16A is open 0600-1800 every day of the week, with Commercial Vehicle Inspections (CVI's) M-F, 0600-1800 and on Saturdays from 0600-1400. Gate 26A is closed until further notice.
