There are no public schools located on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. All students attend schools in the nearby community; the two closest districts are Mad River Local School District and Fairborn City Schools. To enroll a new student, parents must bring a birth certificate, social security card and shot records as well as the child's last grade report from the prior school.
